On May 6, Drake Software hosted a day at their facility in Franklin, NC for NCACPA members. I would be totally remiss if I did not tell you that they did this with grace, style, and enormous hospitality. The facility was top-notch and the staff was gracious and friendly, as well as knowledgeable. I could not have asked for a better event.
John Sapp, CPA, and Vice President of Strategic Development, talked with attendees about identity theft and the reality of what’s happening in our daily world. He didn’t hold back and he didn’t sugarcoat, but he did assure us that Drake is working on the issues and attempting to offer the latest safety precautions. He personally is on several task forces with governmental agencies to deal with these issues nationwide.
The Drake Software product is integrative and simple to use. If you ever need help with their product, the staff is ready and willing to step in to train you. They have an incredible team that works well together, and a facility that was quite impressive in its technology and cleanliness. The staff, from top to bottom, were anxious to help, answer questions, and show off the company. You could tell they love working there.
I cannot say enough about the integrity and friendliness of everyone I met there. I was impressed by them and the array of products. They offer tax software, client write-up software, SecureFilePro, e-pay software, tax automation, and organization software.
My opinion? They aren’t finished yet—they will continue to provide the best software they can as well as the training and support for that software for years to come.
