FASB will be hosting public roundtable meetings on its April 2015 Proposed Accounting Standards Update, Not-for-Profit Entities (Topic 958) and Health Care Entities (Topic 954): Presentation of Financial Statements of Not-for-Profit Entities. The roundtables will be held at FASB’s offices in Norwalk, Connecticut. The meetings will provide an opportunity for those that have submitted a comment letter to discuss the proposals with Board members in further detail.
NCACPA A&A Committee Chair Melisa Galasso, CPA, is one of the contributors on the response submitted by the Association. As such, Melisa has been selected by FASB to attend the meeting. Melisa will be traveling to Norwalk and will have the opportunity to discuss the details of NCACPA’s response.
The roundtable meetings are an important part of the FASB’s due process on the Exposure Draft, and we are proud to have Melisa representing North Carolina.
