NCACPA continues to work on how to responsibly address the threat of the Coronavirus outbreak. Considering the CDC’s related recommendations, the NCACPA team is currently evaluating the status of all programs, including the Leadership Summit scheduled.
Postponing Leadership Summit
While the annual Leadership Summit, scheduled for April 30–May 1 in Raleigh, is an important event for both our volunteer leaders and NCACPA staff, the difficult decision has been made to postpone this event to a later date. The association is in an exciting and transformative time—we have a new vision and mission statement and are introducing many new programs to serve our constituents—and we will reschedule the Leadership Summit at a time that is safe for members, presenters, guests, and staff. Once we have a new date, we will share it immediately.
Annual Business Meeting Webcast
Although the Leadership Summit will be postponed, we will proceed with a virtual annual business meeting on May 1. The online business meeting will be followed by a “Focus on the Profession” session led by CEO Sharon Bryson and NCACPA Chair Kelli Knoble. These two online programs will be open to the entire membership and are free of charge. One hour of CPE credit will be offered for participation in this event. You can register here. If you have completed registration to attend the Leadership Summit, NCACPA’s Member Service Representatives will transfer your registration to the virtual event by Wednesday, March 25.
We appreciate your patience and understanding during this unprecedented time. In the interim, if you have any questions, please reach out to [email protected].
