Description

As organizations become more diverse, so does the
complexity of leadership. Leading
diverse teams requires managers, executives, and other business leaders to
understand the evolving dynamics of their team. It also requires leaders to
become more self-aware and understand how to engage in new and different ways
with their teams.

Leaders today need to understand how they are perceived
(what others expect), received (how others react to them), and what their teams
expect from a leader (how they behave, speak, and interact).

We will discuss the core competencies of an inclusive
leader and the importance of intentionality when leading, managing, and
supporting diverse teams. We will talk about communication strategies for
talking about D&I that demonstrate their understanding of and commitment to
diversity and inclusion.
