The ability to set boundaries is one of the most important skills to master for both personal and professional growth. One of the most important aspects of a good boundary is the ability to say “No” to the people, activities and engagements that we do not enjoy or that do not advance us personally or professionally. When you say no to the things that don’t help you, you are, in effect, saying “Yes” to the things that will.
This interactive seminar will help you learn when and how to say “No” with grace and professionalism. You will participate in role playing and brainstorming activities so that when you need to say “No,” you will be able to say it while preserving personal and professional relationships. You will learn to give yourself the freedom to say “Yes” to activities that will help you grow and that will add value to your personal brand and reputation.
• Tips for Better Physical Health in the Workplace • Ideas for Improved Emotional Health in the Workplace • Workplace Mental Health Maintenance Techniques • Healthy Habits that Won’t Interfere with Work and Family
Attendees will understand when it is desirable to say “No,” how to say “No,” and how to walk away from the exchange successfully.
Who Should Attend
This seminar should be attended by any professional who understands that the ability to say “No” to some choices actually promotes the ability to say “Yes” to the choices that matter.
