Description

Over the past decade the need to create a safer work environment has become evident as instances in which a dangerous episode such as a disgruntled former employee wielding a weaponhave become more numerous. This coupled with the lessons learned during the pandemic year of 2020 (and bleeding into 2021) has created a strong need for measures designed to safeguard workers and trading partners. This session identifies areas that must be considered as organizations develop protective measures. It then details many of the controls that can be deployed to raise worker and trading partner security to a higher level.

Objective

Once participants have completed this session,they should be able to:•Understand the many factors that create risk for workers and others associated with an organization;•List the types of controls that are most useful as entities work to protect people, and•Detail specific measures that can be installed for protection purposes.
