Mark Soticheck CPA, CGMA
Chief Operating Officer
Mark is responsible for overall NCACPA operations, including oversight of all departments. He also works closely with the Board of Directors, Executive Committee, and Nominating Committee to bring association goals to fruition. Prior to joining NCACPA, Mark worked in public accounting with Dixon Hughes Goodman LLP for ten years and was most recently COO for Fidelity Bank for three years. Mark has served on various boards including NCACPA’s Board of Directors and Executive Committee, the Triangle Land Conservancy as a board member and treasurer, as well as on North Carolina State University’s Poole College of Management’s Accounting Advisory Board. All that aside, Mark loves spending time with his wife, Lisa, and their children Penelope and (Little) Mark. Mark received both his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Florida State University and is an avid Seminoles fan!
Fun facts about Mark:
- He can cook authentic Lebanese food.
- He’s a huge fan of Harry Potter, Boston sports, and well-folded clothes.
- If he weren’t at work, he’d love to be traveling abroad with his wife, Lisa, but these days his main extracurricular seems to be diaper-changing and surviving a toddler.
