What is NCACPA committed to?
The Association is committed to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in its membership, leadership, staff, and business relationships. The Association is also committed to increasing diversity within the profession, including supporting historically marginalized students and professionals. We believe transformation within the Association and the broader accounting profession will be advanced through the inclusion of individuals from diverse backgrounds, including race, gender identity and expression, age, ability, sexual orientation, and religion. We further believe the inclusion of unique perspectives and experiences within the Association creates an environment that offers equitable practices and policies, and promotes a culture that is reflective of the communities we serve.
HOW ARE WE GOING TO ACCOMPLISH OUR DEI GOALS AND INITIATIVES?
We are an association that supports a profession of accounting and financial professionals who bring varying backgrounds, ideas, and points of view to the table. Our diverse perspectives come from many sources including gender, race, age, national origin, sexual orientation, culture, education, and professional and life experience.
We are committed to diversity and inclusion and always look for ways to scale our impact as we grow in this arena.
