Hello friends,
We have some great programming on women’s leadership coming up in April. Mona Edwards, founder and owner of LIFT Coaching and Consulting, will present “Perspectives on Leadership: How Women Can Lead with Authenticity, Passion and Impact” at our April luncheon on April 20 from 11:45 am to 1:00 pm, followed by our book club meeting on April 26 at 5:00 pm, where we will explore Lean In by Sheryl Sandburg.
For May, Donna Multerer and Diana Hill have worked hard at planning a scavenger hunt for us at Friendly Center in Greensboro on May 31 from 6:00-8:00 pm. Mark your calendars! Feel free to bring a friend! Prizes will be awarded to the winning team! More details to come…
At our March meeting, Erin Bailey with Tuggle Duggins shared her perspective and experiences regarding having the right estate planning documents in place. She led a lively discussion as she walked through the the documents, roles, and how they work together, providing tips on how to avoid common pitfalls.
In order to keep our ears to the ground in being sure programming is matching your interests and needs, we will have more frequent Steering Committee meetings this first year as we work through the cadence that is right for you. If you were unable to commit to being a Steering Committee member, but would like to share your thoughts on how the group can be enhanced or tweaked to meet the needs of group members, please reach out to Chandler Wright at [email protected] or me at [email protected].
Finally, the name of the group has changed from Triad Plenteous Financial Women’s Forum to Triad Women’s Initiative Networking Group going forward to create consistency with the other regional NCACPA groups.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
