Savvy Savers – Triad Professional Women Share Their Favorite Cost Savings Secrets
Hello Friends,
About twenty ladies gathered in February to make new friends, see old friends, and share our favorite cost-savings secrets. What an impressive group! From favorite deals at Aldi’s to finding the best alternatives to cable—clever tips were exchanged!
As financial professionals, we talked about how we could play a pivotal role in expanding the definition of what it means to nurture family, friends, and coworkers. With our professional expertise, we have the potential of being able to play a transformational role in the lives of those around us. Through simply encouraging more financial conversations, we could possibly help those in our community who might be part of these national statistics:
- 4 in 10 adults would either borrow, sell something, or not be able pay if faced with a $400 emergency expense.
- The average middle-class family has only three weeks of reserves.
- One in five adults cannot cover their current month’s bills, and one in four skipped a medical treatment in the past year due to an inability to pay
Register now to join us on March 21st as Renee Leonard of Bell Partners facilitates our program, Live a More Productive & Purposeful Life. Time is our most valuable finite resource, and we all share it equally, so how can we better use it? In this TED Talk, New York Times bestselling author Rory Vaden discusses why we can’t solve today’s time-management challenges with yesterday’s time-management strategies. What techniques are you using to maximize time and live a more purposeful life in today’s fast-paced environment? Come prepared with ideas and discussion points as we dig deep into this topic!
